New Manager

9th June 2016

Liz Jermy is the new Manager of the Oswestry and Borders Foodbank. At yesterday’s AGM Phil Simpson officially stepped down as manager because he is moving away to live in Middlesbrough. Liz is no stranger to the foodbank as she has been working as a family support worker in a primary school for the past few years in which role she has been issuing foodbank vouchers to families in need.

Also at the AGM yesterday, Rev Paul Darlington stepped down as Chairman of the Trustees, although he remains a Trustee, and his place is taken by Rev Russell Howes. The Rev Heather Wilson was also elected as a Trustee joining David Ward and Maggie Nankivell who make up the team.
