Oswestry band The Rec is donating the proceeds from their new EP to the Oswestry and Borders Foodbank. See a message from them below:

Thought you’d like to know that our new ep, alien zones, is out now on Bandcamp.

We are donating all proceeds from downloads of this ep to Oswestry and Borders Foodbank. The foodbank supports people in the town we grew up in, who are referred to them in crisis. It is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
You can pay as much or as little as you can afford for the ep. If you download it this Friday, 1 May, Bandcamp will be waiving its commission fees so all of the money from donations on Friday will go to the foodbank. Please consider donating and also please forward this email to your friends and spread the word on Facebook and other social media.
