As we reported in September, Vicky Burrows, who is a support mentor and safeguarding officer at North Shropshire College, ran the Shrewsbury half-marathon on October 10th. Prior to the event, she decided to donate any sponsorship money she received to the Foodbank. Although we don’t know how long she took to complete the half-marathon, we do know that she exceeded her sponsorship target and raised a total of £808. Grateful thanks are due to Vicky for her efforts both in completing the run and attracting sponsors.
