Sponsored Cycling: Alpe D’huez & Mont Ventoux, 2 iconic climbs.
These are 2 iconic and difficult mountain climbs from the Tour de France, each being twice the height of Snowdon. Alpe D’huez has 21 hairpin bends .
Mont Ventoux has the memorial to Tom Simpson who sadly died on the climb. Duncan will cycle his new bike with his old legs. The champion cyclists would do it in an hour Duncan hopes to do it in a day!! {Of course he may near their record on the way back down}.
The aim is to earn £1000 for the Oswestry Mayor’s 23/24 charities which are Oswestry Foodbank and Osnosh.
