This is to say a HUGE THANK YOU TO THE COMMUNITY who have been so generous this last year in giving donations of food, toiletries and gifts to the Oswestry and Borders foodbank.
You have donated over 30 metric tonnes of food through the year and in particular, 4 tonnes of Christmas food which enabled us to help over 600 people during the Christmas season and nearly 3000 people overall.
The Foodbank would particularly like to thank Sainsbury’s, Argos, Tesco, Aldi, Arla Foods Marks & Spencer, Honeysuckle, TSB bank, Barclays bank, Esso garage, BT, Practice Plan, Aico, Slimming World, Richmond Harvey Estate agents, Design & Planning Associates, RJAH Orthopaedic Hospital, Greggs, the Fox Inn, Ellesmere Brownies and many schools, nurseries, WI’s, local shops, churches and individuals to mention just a few of you!
The wonderful giving community have enabled the Foodbank to facilitate giving away your donated items to those who need it the most.
